Appointments may be made on the basis of an advance payment or a full payment, made online.

3.1. Users may freely access the content of the website, without the need to create an account.
3.2. It is forbidden to use the website for any illegal or fraudulent activity, or for any activity that may cause harm to the operator or to other users.
3.3. Brain Map Online SRL reserves the right to modify, suspend or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the services offered through the website, without prior notice.
4. Intellectual Property
4.1. The content of the website, including, but not limited to, texts, images, logos, graphics and software, is protected by copyright legislation and belongs to Brain Map Online SRL or is used with the permission of the rights holders.
4.2. The reproduction, distribution, modification or use of the content in any way without the written permission of Brain Map Online SRL is strictly prohibited.
5. Online Payments
Payments for the services offered are processed through NETOPIA Payments, a secure online payment processor.
The payment flow is as follows:
- The user selects the desired location, date and time for the service.
- The user is redirected to the secure payment page hosted by Netopia.
- After the payment is processed, the user is redirected back to the website.
Note: Payment data (card number, CVV code, etc.) is NOT visible to and NOT stored by Brain Map Online SRL. It is processed exclusively by Netopia, in accordance with the PCI DSS and GDPR standards.
6. Confirmation of the Service
After completing the payment, the user receives a confirmation e-mail containing:
- The appointment details (date, time, location).
- Confirmation of the payment (full or partial).
- Contact information for support.
7. Delivery of the Service
In the context of this website, "delivery" means the provision of a bookable service, on a date and at a location chosen by the user.
- Delivery confirmation: Immediately after completing the payment, the user will receive a confirmation email with the appointment details.
- Delivery time: The service is considered "delivered" on the day and at the time for which the appointment was made, and is valid only provided that the user arrives on time.
- There is no physical delivery of products, as the services are provided in person, at the locations displayed on the website.
8. Cancellation / Refund Policy
Given the nature of the services provided (personalised consultations and assessments), the following cancellation policy applies:
- An appointment may be cancelled at least 24 hours before the booked time, by email at contact@institutulbrainmap.ro.
- For cancellations made within the stated deadline, either a refund of the amount paid or a rescheduling of the service may be offered, at the user's choice.
- If the cancellation is made less than 24 hours in advance, the amount paid is not refunded and the appointment cannot be rescheduled.
- Failure to attend the appointment without prior notice is considered a service rendered.
9. Rights and Responsibilities
9.1. The user's rights:
- To benefit from the services offered in accordance with the appointment made.
- To request additional information regarding the services offered.
- To cancel the appointment under the conditions set out in section 8.
9.2. The user's responsibilities:
- To provide accurate and complete information when making the appointment.
- To arrive at the chosen location on the agreed date and time.
- To follow the instructions and recommendations of the BrainMap Institute staff.
10. Limitation of Liability
Brain Map Online SRL cannot be held liable for:
- Malfunctions of the website;
- Limited availability or temporary interruptions of the online services;
- Shortcomings caused by information entered incorrectly by the user (e.g. contact details, erroneous appointments);
- Technical issues arising at the payment processor (Netopia);
- Failure to carry out the appointment due to external causes (e.g. cases of force majeure, unforeseen events, unavailability of medical staff, etc.).
The operator reserves the right to cancel an appointment in exceptional situations, with the obligation to notify the user and to fully refund any amount paid, where applicable.
11. Processing of Personal Data
Use of the website involves the collection and processing of certain personal data. Brain Map Online SRL complies with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), and full information about how the data is collected, used and protected can be found in the Privacy Policy.
