How You Can Treat Muscle Pain from Lyme Disease Using Brain Training Therapy Based on Brain Science
The clinically proven therapy that heals the headaches, joint pain and muscle pain triggered by tick bites

Lyme disease, in short
Ticks are commonly found in areas with tall grass and easily latch onto exposed skin or onto your pet - whether you spend a lot of time in grassy areas, take the kids out to the woods or play with your dog.
Although in many cases no complications occur, roughly 1 in 7 people bitten by ticks develop Lyme disease (according to Everyday Health).
If you or your child have been bitten and, after a few days, flu-like muscle aches, headaches and redness around the bite appear, then you may have contracted Lyme disease.
Once your doctor confirms the diagnosis, it is important to start therapy as soon as possible, to keep the condition from progressing.

A therapy based on brain science

At the BrainMap Institute we use a Neurofeedback technology based on brain science, which helps you treat Lyme disease.
Using exclusive medical equipment, manufactured and certified in the U.S., the therapy trains the brain's neuroplasticity and drives the formation of new neural connections, which take over the functions affected by the bacteria transmitted by the tick.
The entire procedure is painless and causes no side effects - it involves no electrical stimuli or other dangerous procedures.
The same equipment has been used from the very beginning to train NASA cosmonauts and astronauts, improving their focus in highly stressful situations. And now you can benefit from Neurofeedback therapy right here in Romania!
What is Lyme Disease?

Lyme disease is a condition transmitted by ticks of the Ixodes genus, an insect that carries the bacterium Borrelia burgdorferi.
Although most people bitten by ticks do not develop Lyme disease, the risk of infection increases the more time passes from the moment of the bite, or if the tick stays attached to the body for 17-48 hours.
If you find a tick on your skin that looks swollen, it may have fed long enough to transmit the bacteria to you. Removing the tick as quickly as possible is essential to prevent infection.
Risk factors for Lyme disease include:
- Spending time in grassy areas
- Exposed skin ā ticks attach easily to the skin. If you know ticks are common in certain areas, wear long-sleeved tops and long trousers. Also, avoid letting your dog into grassy areas.
The stages and symptoms of Lyme disease
Lyme disease develops a few days after infection and manifests as follows:
- A circular red rash;
- Lack of energy;
- Headaches;
- Muscle and joint pain.
For some infected people, stage I has no symptoms at all.
If the disease is not detected and treated immediately after infection, or if there are no symptoms in its first stage, the infection affects the skin, joints, heart and nervous system. Symptoms include:
- An extensive, circular skin rash ā it can appear on several parts of the body;
- Numbness in the arms and/or legs;
- Physical pain;
- Weakness;
- Paralysis of the facial muscles;
- Headaches;
- Fainting;
- Concentration or memory problems;
- Conjunctivitis or damage to the eye tissue;
- Redness and swelling of the large joints, especially the knees;
- Palpitations and cardiovascular complications.
Without treatment, Lyme disease will progress, going as far as damage to the joints and nerves. This can occur months or even years after infection.
Among the symptoms are:
- Arthritis, especially in the knee area ā including recurring episodes of swelling, fluid build-up and redness of the joints;
- Numbness or tingling in the hands, legs or back;
- Chronic fatigue;
- Inability to control the facial muscles;
- Memory and speech problems;
- Low mood.
How does Brain Training Therapy help with Lyme Disease?
Neurofeedback training shows positive results in treating Lyme disease, especially when therapy starts early. The sooner we begin, the faster we can reduce the impact of the symptoms ā
Using a dedicated medical device and a software program, we measure brain wave activity and help patients with Lyme disease change their own brain waves. This way, you will finally get rid of the specific symptoms that cause you discomfort and pain.
Thanks to neuroplasticity (the brain's ability to adapt), we can form new neural pathways, which help reduce muscle and joint pain, improve concentration and boost your energy levels in everyday life.
What does the procedure consist of?
As part of neurofeedback therapy for Lyme disease, we will go through 4 simple steps together:
We carry out a BrainMap assessment, in which we discover exactly which brain areas are affected by Lyme disease. This tells us precisely what needs to be treated and how we will run the therapy sessions.
Based on the results, you receive a personalized neurofeedback treatment plan, suited to the uniqueness of your brain.
Follow the established plan and attend the periodic brain training sessions
You start to see the results: headaches and muscle pain disappear, the feeling of numbness gradually subsides, and your energy levels rise.
The Results of Brain Training Therapy for Lyme Disease
From our work with thousands of patients, we have observed that through Neurofeedback brain training we can considerably reduce the impact of Lyme disease, if we intervene early.
After specifically training the affected areas, patients can lead a much better quality of life, managing to ease the characteristic pain and body numbness (effects also demonstrated by international studies).
Heal the discomfort and pain caused by Lyme Disease
If you follow the therapy plan, we can help you treat the manifestations of Lyme disease, so you can get rid of the pain and the lack of energy & concentration. All of this will help you live the quality life you had before the tick bite.
