Get rid of phobias with the help of brain training therapy, unique in Europe
The therapy that defeats phobia, without being exposed to the factor that triggers the fear

If you suffer from a phobia, you have surely heard the following things many times:
You usually hear these things from people who do NOT understand how frightening it can be for you to expose yourself to these fears. And what feelings await you just when you think you are about to face your fear.
However, you can defeat phobia in a much more pleasant way, without subjecting yourself to uncomfortable situations.
What you hear most often from others:
- But you don't have to be afraid, it won't do anything to you.
- You're exaggerating now, it's not as scary as you think.
- And what are you going to do from now on, isolate yourself from the rest of the world to avoid crowds?
- You can only get rid of a phobia if you expose yourself to your greatest fear, not if you hide from it.
This method involves brain training therapy
At the Brain Map Institute we use the revolutionary brain training therapy, based on brain science, which helps you fight phobias and get rid of the fear that controls your life.
Using new exclusive medical equipment, manufactured and certified in the U.S.A., the therapy is based on "correcting" the arousal level of the central nervous system through play.
With the help of auditory and visual elements, your brain learns to react differently in the situations that trigger the phobia.

- The whole procedure is painless and does not cause side effects. It does not involve electrical stimuli or other dangerous and ineffective procedures.
- This medical equipment has been used since the very beginning for the training of NASA cosmonauts and astronauts, to improve cognitive abilities and to help them adapt to the extreme conditions of space.
- And now you too can benefit from the effects of this therapy right here in Romania!
What is a phobia?

A phobia is a persistent and irrational fear of an object or situation that is generally considered non-threatening.
The fear also triggers the desire to avoid the situation, or the object that induces the fear. In some cases it can lead to the inability to function normally in certain tasks, such as work or social situations.
Phobia is one of the anxiety disorders, which include:
- panic disorder
- post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
- obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)
- generalized anxiety disorder.
How many types of phobia are there and how do they manifest?
There are 3 main types of phobia:
1. Situational/specific phobia
This includes:
- fear of enclosed spaces (claustrophobia);
- fear of animals, especially spiders, snakes or mice;
- fear of heights (acrophobia);
- fear of flying (pterygophobia);
- fear of water (hydrophobia);
- fear of storms;
- fear of the dentist;
- fear of injections etc.
2. Social phobia
More than shyness, social phobia involves a combination of excessive self-awareness. It manifests itself through the fear of being watched or humiliated in ordinary social situations and the fear of negative evaluations from others.
3. Fear of open spaces (agoraphobia)
Many of the people who have agoraphobia developed it after having one or more panic attacks.
Agoraphobia is the fear of being alone in places such as large shops, in a lift or in a room full of people, from which it is not easy to get out if a panic attack occurs.
What symptoms does a person suffering from phobias have:
- an irrational and persistent fear of objects, activities or specific situations;
- the uncontrollable triggering of anxiety when the person is exposed to the object they fear;
- functioning problems in normal tasks because of the fear;
- when encountering the situation that triggers the phobia, the patient shows feelings of panic, such as sweating, rapid pulse, avoidance behaviour, difficulty breathing and intense anxiety;
- in some cases, anxiety can appear when the person merely anticipates encountering the feared situation.
Children can develop symptoms of specific phobia from the age of 5, especially phobias related to the natural environment ā such as storms or animals ā or to bodily harm. Social phobia and situational phobia, such as fear of heights or enclosed spaces, usually appear between the ages of 20 and 30.
The causes of phobia
The causes of phobia are still not fully known. However, it can be observed that there is a close correlation between a child's phobia and the phobia of their parents.
Children can learn phobias by observing the phobic reactions of a family member to an object or situation. An example of a learned phobia is the fear of snakes.
Neurotransmitters in the brain, genetics and traumatic experiences also seem to influence the development of phobias.

How you can overcome phobia with the help of the revolutionary brain training therapy
- From our activity and from working with thousands of patients we have observed that irrational fears can be alleviated through brain training (effects also demonstrated by international studies*).
- Using a specific medical device and a software program, we measure brain wave activity and help patients with phobias change their own brain waves.
- This way, you will manage to reduce the feeling of fear triggered by various factors and improve your overall quality of life.
- Moreover, your brain is helped to develop new neural networks. In practice, it learns new healthy ways of responding to old triggers and thus the occurrence of the manifestations characteristic of phobia is reduced.
What does the therapy consist of?
Within the brain training therapy for phobias, we will go through 3 simple steps together:
We carry out a BrainMap investigation, in which we discover exactly the brain areas that triggered the phobia. This way, we figure out what exactly needs to be treated and how we will conduct the therapy sessions.
Based on the results, you receive a personalized treatment plan, suited to the uniqueness of your brain.
Follow the established plan and attend the periodic brain training sessions.
Then, you start to see the results: you have more control over your life, you no longer feel fear in triggering situations and your quality of life becomes much better.
The results of the therapy
As with any complementary medicine technique, the results do not happen instantly, in a magical or forced manner. However, through sustained effort over the period recommended by the therapist, the results will be very satisfying!
Through brain training therapy, the emotional traumas that represent the sensitive substrate on which phobias develop will be resolved.
