Enjoy a peaceful life, free of chronic pain, through brain training therapy, unique in Europe
Do you feel your life has completely changed since you started having chronic pain?

Are you living with pain that won't leave you alone?
Even when you follow your doctor's recommendations, exercise and avoid strenuous effort, does a wave of pain hit you out of nowhere? And no matter how much you explain to those around you that you are in pain, do they think you are exaggerating, leaving you feeling misunderstood?
Have you tried every treatment you could find just to get rid of the pain, but nothing has brought long-lasting results?
Chronic pain not only stops you from carrying out normal day-to-day activities, it also affects your quality of life, your concentration and your ability to manage on your own, without help.
Still, you don't have to live with chronic pain for the rest of your life! There are solutions that can help you treat it and keep it under control.

How does brain training therapy work?

At the BrainMap Institute we use revolutionary brain training therapy, based on brain science, which helps you get rid of chronic pain and the discomfort it causes.
Researchers have concluded that chronic pain amplifies painful sensations, affecting the way the brain and spinal cord process pain signals. Using exclusive medical equipment, manufactured and certified in the U.S.A., the therapy is based on training the brain's neuroplasticity: it ārepairsā the way the brain perceives painful stimuli and drives the formation of new neural connections, which take over the functions already affected by pain.
The entire procedure is painless, non-invasive and causes no side effects - no electrical stimuli or other dangerous procedures. The same equipment was used in the training of NASA cosmonauts and astronauts, and now you can benefit from its effects right here in Romania.
What is chronic pain?
Chronic pain is pain that persists for 3 months or more. Pain is the body's way of reacting when something is wrong. It is normal for the body to send pain signals in the case of injuries or illnesses, but pain that persists after these is not normal. Some people have chronic pain without any injury or illness to trigger it.
Chronic pain can occur anywhere in the body and can range from mild to so severe that it interferes with your mood and your ability to function normally.
The exact cause is not yet known. When an injury or illness occurs, certain nerves send pain signals to the brain; in chronic pain, these signals continue for weeks, months or even years after recovery. The pain may follow an injury or a major illness - such as a spinal cord injury or shingles - or it may appear for no known reason.

Types of pain
Neurogenic or neuropathic pain
It occurs when the peripheral nerves or the central nervous system are damaged. The nerves themselves cause the pain.
Psychogenic pain
It arises from emotional or psychological distress. It is not common, but stress, depression and other psychological factors can worsen chronic pain.
Pain of unidentified cause
Pain that persists without a precise cause that can be identified.
Associated illnesses and how chronic pain manifests itself
Illnesses that can cause chronic pain
- headaches, such as migraines or headaches caused by sinusitis
- diabetes, which can damage the nerves because of high blood sugar levels
- shingles, an illness that causes pain along nerve pathways and a skin rash
- arthritis, an illness that causes joint pain
- fibromyalgia, an illness that causes widespread pain and tenderness in the muscles and soft tissues
- post-traumatic stress, a severe emotional response to a traumatic event
- stroke
- lower back pain (the lower area of the back), which can radiate or cover a small or large area of the back (disc degeneration, disc protrusions, herniated disc)
- obesity
- sprains, fractures, repetitive injuries
- muscle tears, muscle strains
- phantom limb pain, which occurs at the stump after an amputation but is felt āin the amputated limbā.
How chronic pain manifests itself
- mild or severe pain that does not go away as it normally would after an illness or injury
- pain that feels like stinging, burning, electric shocks or pressure
- discomfort, tension, stiffness
- fatigue, which can lead to impatience and lack of motivation
- drowsiness, because the pain causes insomnia
- giving up daily activities and an excessive need for bed rest
- a weakened immune system, leading to frequent infections
- depression, which is quite common and can worsen the pain
- other mood changes, such as hopelessness, fear, irritability, anxiety and stress
- disability, which may include giving up work and social activities
How does brain training therapy help with chronic pain?
- Brain training therapy shows positive results in treating chronic pain, especially if it is started early. The sooner it begins, the faster we can reduce the impact of the symptoms
- Using a specific medical device and a software program, we measure brainwave activity and help patients change their own brainwaves. This way, you will manage to reduce your pain and the fatigue it causes, while improving your overall quality of life.
- Thanks to neuroplasticity (the brain's ability to adapt), we can form new neural pathways, which can improve motor, sensory and autonomic functions in everyday life.
What does the therapy consist of?
Within the brain training therapy for chronic pain, we will go through 3 simple steps together:
We carry out a BrainMap assessment, in which we discover exactly the brain areas that triggered the chronic pain. This way, we figure out what exactly needs to be treated and how we will conduct the therapy sessions.
Based on the results, you receive a personalized treatment plan, suited to the uniqueness of your brain.
Follow the established plan and attend the periodic brain training sessions.
Then, you start to see the results: you have more control over your body, the chronic pain gradually fades away, and you can enjoy your daily activities without feeling discomfort, fatigue or lack of motivation.
The results of the therapy
From our activity and from working with thousands of patients we have observed that, through brain training therapy, we can considerably reduce chronic pain if we intervene early.
After the specific training of the affected areas, the patient can lead a life of much better quality, managing to reduce persistent pain, fatigue and the feeling of incapacity (effects also demonstrated by international studies*).
Reduce discomfort, fatigue and chronic pain through brain training
If you follow the therapy plan, we can help you considerably reduce your pain. This way, you will be able to live a good quality life, free from the obstacles and troubles caused by chronic pain.
